The Sparkling Sundrop

One day a girl named Laura went to the soda machine after a long day of school. She really wanted a Sundrop so when she pressed the button a sparkling Sundrop appeared in the soda machine. She saw posters all of the school that there was one Sundrop in a soda machine that could make you everlasting. So she was so excited she tool a big drink out of it. When she returned home she felt dizzy so she went to bed. The next morning she felt sick so she stayed home for the day. Later in the afternoon she got a phone call from the school nurse. The nurse wanted to ask how she was doing. They got into a long conversation and the nurse told her that many kids were out of school because of an epidemic over a can of soda. The nurse also said that someone else in the school had the same symptoms as her from a can of soda. That is when she figured out she was everlasting.

While she was sitting on the couch she was thinking about what she would do now since she was everlasting. At the time she was 18 years old so she was finishing up high school and she would be moving on to college. So two days later she told all of her teachers that she was dropping out of high school and she would not be attending any college of any sort. She decided this because she wanted to have fun for the rest of her life. The first place that she went to was Hollywood, California. She decided to pick this place first because she wanted to see all the movie stars, famous singers from the radio, and she wanted to go shopping at all of the stores. She decided to purchase her own personal limo to take her wherever she wanted. So when she arrived in Hollywood she arrived in her brand new limo. While she was there she went to a red carpet event and she had a great time she saw many movie stars. She even made friends with some of them too. While she was also there she went shopping, saw record companies, huge buildings, and the giant Hollywood sign. She stayed there for a week and she got sick and bored of being in Hollywood. Since she always saw commercials for Carnival Cruise Lines, she decided to go there. She went swimming, played water basketball, and she saw a lot of wildlife in the Pacific Ocean. After a while though she got bored after being there for 1 month. She still had fun though because she traveled around the world on the boat. She went to the Mall of America and she bought clothing, shoes, and many other things, but after spending all the money she got very bored.

Laura really regretted taking the sparkling Sundrop. She always got so bored in everything. All if her friends and family had died so she didn’t really know anyone anymore. She hated living forever because she already saw all the attractions that she could think of. That day she also learned a lesson of thinking about something before you do it. So she always lived forever.
